Dentons Berlin announces local partnership with Startupbootcamp Digital Health Berlin

Berlin-Global law firm Dentons today announced its partnership with the business accelerator Startupbootcamp. As a part of this partnership, Dentons will provide support in accelerating 20 high-potential startups in the digital health sector over the next two years. The program will support innovative startups that combine medical knowledge with smart technologies, with a special focus on behavioral change, diagnostics and genomics, big data and analytics. Startupbootcamp Digital Health Berlin accelerates startups in digital health by building an ecosystem of growth to support them. It connects up to ten selected startup teams with more than 200 industry mentors, corporate partners and investors, and provides EUR15 000 in cash and six months free office space. These resources will give the startups a collaborative and fostering environment to enable them to achieve a year’s worth of growth in just three months. The Berlin accelerator team is currently running their 2016 program which started on November 7, 2016. The ten selected companies come from seven different countries and tackle various fields in digital health, including behavioral change, artificial intelligence, diagnostics and genomics, and women’s health. The accelerator program is also supported by Arvato CRM Healthcare Solutions, Sanofi in Germany, Deutsche Apotheker- und Arztebank (apoBank), Philips, and Munich Health.
