Dentons and North of 41.org Host 1st Canadian Legal Tech Hackathon

Dentons, along with North of 41.org, Neesons and the Conflict Resolution Place, is hosting a legal tech hackathon this weekend, June 2-4. Over 200 diverse participants have registered including lawyers (private practice and in-house), software developers, data analysts and business professionals. Over the weekend, participants will form teams to develop a software solution related to the legal industry. The finalists will present their winning solutions on the final day to a panel of judges. Prizes totaling over $10,000 will be awarded to the winning teams.

A number of the problems that will be solved by the hackathon teams have been developed by Dentons. The solutions created by teams at this hackathon will help law firms and in-house legal departments. Data will be analyzed to promote efficiencies from service providers to clients. The aim is to provide real-world solutions to reduce costs for end users.

Dentons is privileged to support the first Canadian legal tech hackathon, along with other partners such as IBM and Thomson Reuters. If you are interested in participating, please click here or contact Christine Ho at christine.ho@dentons.com or 416 863 4734.
